This work encompasses a few separate symbolic ideas which have repeated in my work. Predominantly this is a separation of above and below, how we see the structure of the world as well as our insides and outsides (physically and psychologically).
It also touches on ideas of throwing things ‘away’, wishing wells, underground spaces (caves), infinity loops – strength and longevity – vs. rocks and stones eg.fragmentation. I loved exploring the colour combinations in this work.
